Alpha Gamma Sigma (AGS) is a statewide honor society dedicated to fostering, promoting, maintaining, and recognizing scholarship.In addition to fun activities that build student community and cohesiveness, the direct benefits of AGS include scholarships, transcript notation, help with letters of recommendation, leadership experience, networking opportunities, attendance at state conferences, and the creation of a personal community service record!!

If you have missed a general meeting, take the appropriate quiz below. Remember that you have a limited amount of time to complete the quizzes after a missed meeting.

Spring 2026 Scholarship Application

Make a copy of the application to print out, fill it out, then submit to our Advisor Prof. Faltas the physical copy and a digital copy to his email ([email protected])

Applying For Membership

To apply for club membership, you need to pay $17 for the semester (either in cash or online through Square; $10 goes to the club, $7 to the state AGS organization). Then you will need to fill out the membership application in Viking Engagement.Missed the deadline? No worries! You can still join the club as a prospective member (can attend general/board meetings, volunteer, join social events etc).However you won't be eligible for transcript notation and the scholarship award. Some service and fundraising hours collected as a prospective member can be transferred to the next semester if you apply for membership then.
